i'm listening to the misericorde volume one soundtrack, which is an incredible amount of music that's right up my alley. i was happy to catch contemporary updates to medieval dance music^[1] as well as a lot of great instrumentals^[2] to get stuck in my head. i'm hoping for a mac build of the game^[3], but until then (or until i cave and get my hands on a borrowed PC) i'll be nodding along to its soundtrack.

the absence of miriam lane is a puzzle-oriented mystery game that utilizes twine in ways that i've never seen before. the player is tasked with investigating the disappearance of the titular woman, who has seemingly taken all the details of her life with her.
