Drama. An Amazonian shaman is approached by two scientists, across the span of three decades, in search of a sacred and rare plant. - Anatomy of a Fall (Anatomie d'une chute), 2023paints an incredibly realized portrait of a disjointed marriage and its gender dynamics. the trial scenes are slick and showcase how truly insane the french court system is.
great sweaters, great dog acting, phenomenal child acting, a hot lawyer...i love movies!
Drama, thriller. A woman is suspected of her husband's murder after his body is found below the open window of their Alpine chalet.

- If on a winter's night a traveler, Italo Calvino (tr. William Weaver)the incredible start to this book, unfortunately, promised a bit too much—my attention really wavered throughout the last quarter. still a fun read! all the sudden beginnings and ends reminded me of ling ma's bliss montage; just a vignette of other stories and worlds, flashing by before a premature cutoff.
Literary, postmodern. An avid reader attempts to read the new novel If on a winter's night a traveler, but soon finds that his copy is defective.
